Knitting a beige cable blanket (DIY)
With spring coming in a few weeks, there will be lovely days to sit outside. In the beginning it will be a little bit cold in the evenings, so a nice blanket will give you some warmth. With this in my mind, I started knitting a lovely cable blanket. Continue reading “Knitting a beige cable blanket (DIY)”
DIY mini Christmas crib
After working very hard on my Master Thesis the last couple of weeks, it’s finally finished. At least for me. It’s now at my Thesis supervisor, who promises me a lot, but is not doing what he promises. It’s the first time he is reading something from my Thesis. I asked him several times to read parts. But he didn’t do that. And now the time is there, that I am probably too late to sent my Thesis to Nyenrode, because the deadline is very close.
I’m frustrated about it, because I can’t do anything about it.
Right now I need a little distraction, so I searched for a little Christmas DIY project. And it became a mini Christmas crib. I was looking for one for a while, but most of the time I found them too colorful, or too expensive.
So last week I saw a nice one on Instagram. I searched for a shop, but it was sold out everywhere.
After some more searching I found the wooden dolls, so plans for a DIY are ready. Are you in? Continue reading “DIY mini Christmas crib”
Christmas 2016, a couple of pictures
The year os over so fast this year, less than two weeks and it’s Christmas 2016 already. This year I don’t feel like putting too much Christmas decorations. I always try to make something for Christmas, but I’m a little tired. All the work for my masterthesis cost me a lot of energy.
So i only made a couple corners with Christmas decorations which were easy to pick from the attick or that I bought this year. I you read further you can find some pictures of the Christmas corner in our house for Christmas 2016. Continue reading “Christmas 2016, a couple of pictures”
A new warm blanket with pattern to knit (#DIY)
In winter I always like it to sit on the couch, watching tv and at the same time knitting or crocheting a blanket. Mostly I’m working on a couple of projects and it’s sometimes not easy to really finish a blanket. The knitting is not the problem, but after that all the loose ends need to be fixed in the blanket. And I really don’t like that. And I also want to share the blankets with you here on my blog. For now I have two plaids (with this one) finished to blog about and two blankets that need some loose-ends-work and also writing a blog about. And two new ones are on their way, which more than halfway with the knitting part. Oeps a lot of work to do then (while I first have to work on my Master Thesis to get that finished too).
